Living Proof is MIFNQ’s Secondary School and Community Awareness Program.
It is aimed at reducing stigma, increasing understanding of mental health issues and encouraging early help seeking through sharing knowledge and positive stories of recovery in the words of people with their own lived experiences.
Living Proof presentations last approximately one hour and are delivered by small teams, including a Mental Health Professional. Personal stories from young people and family members are teamed with up to date information and delivered using a variety of multimedia strategies to engage audiences.
Living Proof presentations are free to schools and not for profit organisations.
Requests for Living Proof presentations can be made by emailing the Director of Education, Philippa Harris: firstname.lastname@example.org
Living Proof is currently available in the Townsville region only.
